Mother of late football legend Siniša Mihajlović robbed in Serbia

Viktorija Mihajlović, the mother of the late Serbian football icon Siniša Mihajlović, was robbed in her family home in Stará Kamenica. Thieves broke into her house between May 25 and 26, stealing valuables including money, her savings, and her pension.

Among the stolen items was a gold necklace with pictures of her grandchildren, a gift from her son. "This was a gift from my Siniša and the children," Viktorija Mihajlović told Večernje novosti. She also recounted that she slept through the burglary, suspecting she may have been drugged.

The house also contains a museum curated by Siniša's brother, Dražen, dedicated to the footballer's career. It features his jerseys, boots, photographs, and other memorabilia collected over years. Siniša Mihajlović passed away in December 2022 after a battle with cancer.

His widow, Arijana Mihajlović, has publicly appealed for assistance in locating the thieves. Security camera footage reportedly shows the perpetrators were masked.
