Motorcycle accident surge in Vilnius: three crashes in one hour

Vilnius witnessed a dramatic spike in motorcycle accidents on a single evening, with three separate incidents occurring within approximately one hour. The frequency and severity of these crashes have drawn significant attention.

The first accident happened at 5:00 PM on Konstitucijos Avenue, involving a collision between a motorcyclist and a car. The motorcyclist reported pain in their arm and leg. Shortly after, at 5:24 PM on Ateities Street, a motorcyclist lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a concrete barrier. The rider lost consciousness at the scene but later regained it and was transported to the hospital.

Just before 6:00 PM, another incident occurred on Kairėnų Street when a car struck a motorcyclist. Initial reports suggested the approximately 50-year-old man showed no signs of life, but he later recovered consciousness, indicating he had lost it at the time of the impact. He was also taken to the hospital.

Authorities are currently investigating the details and causes behind this cluster of motorcycle accidents that disrupted the evening in the Lithuanian capital.
