Muscat Pharmacy unveils relocated Ibri branch, building on 57 years of trust in Oman

Muscat Pharmacy & Stores has opened a relocated branch in Ibri Sennayah, presenting what it describes as a more modern and accessible pharmacy experience for the local community.

Sheikh Saud Bin Salem Al Mamari, Ibri’s deputy governor, officiated at the inauguration. Muscat Pharmacy management, senior officials and staff also attended the ceremony.

The company said the new branch reflects its broader effort to strengthen its retail network and adapt its stores to customers’ changing needs. The redesigned location combines medicines and healthcare products with wellness, beauty, personal care, baby care and other everyday health essentials.

Muscat Pharmacy said the move forms part of its wider vision to expand the role of the community pharmacy beyond the traditional model. It aims to create a more comprehensive healthcare and wellness destination for customers across Oman.

Vairali Mehta, the company’s chief operating officer, said Muscat Pharmacy had been part of generations of Omani families for 57 years. “This relocation is not simply about moving a pharmacy from one location to another. It represents the direction in which we are taking Muscat Pharmacy: more modern, more accessible, more customer-focused and increasingly connected to the healthcare and wellness needs of the communities we serve.”
