Muscat Workshop Enhances Social Research Skills for Family Court Cases

Muscat hosted a workshop focused on improving the preparation of social research for family court cases, aiming to bolster judicial decision-making and elevate services for families. The event brought together social and psychological specialists to tackle prominent challenges in divorce and family proceedings.

Organized by the Supreme Judiciary Council in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development, the workshop emphasized practical aspects of social research. Participants explored methodologies for gathering and analyzing information, along with mechanisms for creating professional social reports. The goal was to enhance the quality of outputs presented to courts and unify concepts among concerned authorities.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed Al Shamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development for Family and Community Development Affairs, highlighted the workshop's role in developing specialists' skills and promoting the exchange of expertise.
