Music market Cranea Música returns to Asunción in September

Asunción will host the ninth edition of Cranea Música from September 9 to 12, a significant music market and professional gathering. The event aims to foster exchanges between artists and professionals involved in music creation, production, management, programming, and distribution.

All the developmental projects we are executing in the state are as a result of the adequate funding we are receiving from the Federal Government.

Beyond artistic showcases, Cranea Música will provide spaces for training and professional networking. "Connection rounds" will facilitate meetings between projects and industry professionals, while showcases will offer a platform for musical proposals to be presented to market participants.

Similarly, all the palliatives we have been providing to our people, including this sale of food items at subsidised rates, as well as the payment of salaries on the 18th of every month, are also as a result of the adequate funding we receive from the Federal Government.

This year's edition boasts an international lineup with guests from Paraguay, Argentina, Spain, the United States, Panama, Colombia, Brazil, Uruguay, and Canada. Confirmed speakers include Alfredo Cajax from SUNFEST (Canada), Sebastián Ruiz Tagle from Costa Futuro (Spain), Yahaira Osiris from CAMM and MIM Latam (Panama), and Betto Arcos, associated with NPR, BBC Radio 3, and KCRW (United States). Other notable participants are Lula Bertoldi of Eruca Sativa (Argentina), Ximena Guerrero from Colombia's Universidad de los Andes, Téo Ruiz from Brazil's FIMS, Martha Caviglia, a music rights lawyer from Uruguay, and Brazilian musician and producer Otávio Madureira.
