Musician collapses on stage at Bochum festival, receives resuscitation

Bochum, Germany – A dramatic incident occurred at the "Bochum Total" festival when the singer of the cover band "Doris Deluxe" collapsed on stage during a performance in a bar.

Festival organizers expressed relief at the swift actions of a bandmate and the on-site emergency services. "It was of course a moment of shock when we learned about it. We are very glad about the decisive intervention of the bandmate and that the emergency services on site could act so quickly," a statement from the festival management read.

The singer collapsed during a break between songs in the well-known Bermuda Triangle entertainment district. A bandmate immediately administered first aid until paramedics arrived. The singer was subsequently transported to a hospital.

Reports indicate that the band has stated the singer's condition is stable and that he is responsive. The "Bochum Total" festival, which began on Thursday and concludes on Sunday, will be moving to a new location next year. After 40 years, the event will leave the Bermuda Triangle and take place in the Westpark Bochum starting in 2027.
