Musicians praise Belgrade Botanical Garden's 'special atmosphere' for concerts

Belgrade's Botanical Garden "Jevremovac" is set to transform into a musical oasis once again with the upcoming Wine Garden evening concerts on August 22nd and 23rd. Following a highly successful June event, the venue promises a unique auditory experience for attendees.

It is perhaps the most beautiful garden in Belgrade and gathers many fine people. A special atmosphere is created, grass, people sitting, lots of children. Time passes slowly there.

Musician Ana Radonjić, known as Zoe Kida, who performed at the garden two years ago and is scheduled to perform again on August 22nd, described the location as potentially the most beautiful garden in Belgrade. She noted the special atmosphere created by the natural setting, the presence of families, and the unhurried pace of time, all contributing to a fine gathering of people.

Dejan Cukić, another musician, will perform on August 23rd with a special acoustic set featuring guitar and piano. He highlighted the audience's positive reactions to this intimate performance style in the past and expressed enthusiasm for returning to the same space. Cukić explained that the garden's environment necessitates a focus on acoustic variations due to noise restrictions, which he finds advantageous.

Acoustic guitar, piano. It is a specific type of performance, the audience reacted phenomenally when we played, we were delighted to do it again in the same space. It is a phenomenal place, the limitation is noise, because you cannot be too loud because of the people around, so such acoustic variations are very suitable.

According to Cukić, the quieter setting encourages audiences to pay closer attention to the lyrics and perceive the songs differently. He emphasized that the Botanical Garden itself serves as a highly inspirational venue for artists, fostering a deeper connection between the music and the listeners.
