NAFDAC: Unbranded palm oil and fufu fall outside our direct oversight

Nigeria’s National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, says unbranded palm oil, fufu and other traditionally packaged staple foods sold in open markets fall outside its direct and absolute regulatory oversight.

Director-General Mojisola Adeyeye disclosed the agency’s position on Monday while briefing journalists in Abuja.
