Nahuel Molina leaves Atlético for Roma

Nahuel Molina has departed Atlético Madrid for AS Roma, concluding a four-year tenure with the Spanish club. The Argentine full-back, 28, has signed a four-year deal with the Italian side, which welcomed him with a "Benvenuto a Roma, Nahuel" message and revealed his chosen jersey number, 20.

Molina joined Atlético in the summer of 2022 from Italian club Udinese. During his time in Madrid, he played 181 matches, scoring nine goals and providing 17 assists. He expressed gratitude for his time at the club on social media, thanking his teammates, coaching staff, and the club's supporters.

Internationally, Molina has achieved significant success with the Argentine national team, earning 65 caps. His trophy cabinet includes the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the 2022 Finalissima, and the 2021 and 2024 Copa América titles. He was also part of the Argentine squad that reached the final of the 2026 World Cup, where they were runners-up.
