National Day staycations offer local celebrations with fireworks views and festive dining

Singaporeans often leave the island for the National Day long weekend, but this year, hotels are encouraging locals to stay home. They are rolling out special staycation packages and dining experiences that highlight the city's unique facets.

For those who want to enjoy the National Day fireworks without the crowds, The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore offers rooms with direct views of the National Stadium. Their "Anchored Moments" package includes early check-in, buffet breakfast, and a nautical-themed amenity. Alternatively, the "Moonlight Stay & Dine" package offers a late check-in and buffet dinner.

Parkroyal on Beach Road is hosting a more social celebration with a National Day poolside BBQ party on August 9. The event includes a live screening of the parade, a buffet, free-flow drinks, and fireworks views. Guests can purchase tickets for the party, which also features offerings at the rooftop bar Mr Stork, including limited-edition cocktails and local bar bites.
