National Quiniela: Evening draw results for Monday, August 31

The number 8423 topped Monday's Evening Quiniela draw in Argentina, with 3527 and 2679 taking second and third place. The first 10 positions also included 3382, 7541, 3314, 6603, 6836, 5999 and 6101.

The numbers drawn for positions 11 through 20 were 1493, 2539, 6262, 5046, 7522, 8409, 3307, 9829, 5614 and 4718. The number 23 was listed as the draw's leading number and, according to the traditional meaning of dreams, represents a cook. The letters drawn were UULY.

The Quiniela, formerly known as the National Quiniela, is organized by the Lottery of the City of Buenos Aires. Players can bet on one-, two-, three- or four-digit numbers. The game has no fixed jackpot, with prizes determined by the number of correct guesses and a bank limit set at five times the amount collected.

The lottery uses four drums to form each four-digit number, representing the thousands, hundreds, tens and units. A fifth drum determines the 20 positions on the board. Draws take place at noon, 2:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. The official valid list is the one issued by the Buenos Aires City Lottery.
