NATO Summit in Ankara: A New Era Dawns Amidst Transatlantic Tensions

Leaders from NATO member states, including U.S. President Donald Trump, are converging in Ankara for a crucial two-day summit. The meeting occurs at a time of increasing fragility in transatlantic relations, marked by the U.S. scaling back its traditional role in European security.

The summit's central theme is "a stronger Europe within a stronger NATO." The Trump administration is actively promoting a new paradigm, referred to as "NATO 3.0," the specifics of which are expected to be clarified during the Ankara discussions.
