Navua FC is drawing significant confidence from their recent 1-0 victory over Rewa FC as they prepare for the upcoming Extra Battle of the Giants tournament. Head coach Rodeck Singh highlighted the importance of defeating one of the country's top teams, stating it provides a "timely boost for the squad."

Despite the positive momentum, Navua FC is facing challenges with training facilities due to adverse weather conditions. Singh mentioned that the team's usual training ground is currently unusable, forcing them to seek alternative venues like Uprising. "The only challenge we’re facing is the weather. We are failing to find a ground to train on because of the weather conditions," he explained.

Nevertheless, the squad remains focused and eager for the tournament, which is scheduled to take place from the 4th to the 6th of next month, with semifinals and finals on the 12th and 13th. Singh is determined to ensure the team prepares adequately despite the logistical hurdles.
