NCU nursing students get a shot in the arm

For more than two years, Northern Caribbean University nursing student Anastacia Williams used an Android phone for nearly all her university work.

She completed assignments, prepared PowerPoint presentations, worked on Excel documents and typed lengthy academic papers on the device. When the phone began falling apart, she held its screen together with an elastic band and continued working.

That struggle changed last Thursday, when Williams received an HP laptop through a partnership between AdventHealth, Andrews Memorial Hospital Limited and NCU.
