NDC national leader Dickson appoints political, technical, media aides

Henry Seriake Dickson, the National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has strategically appointed new aides to fortify the party's operational, administrative, and communication efforts in anticipation of the 2027 general elections.

Sani Takori, a lawyer with a distinguished career in public administration and law, has been named political adviser. His experience spans roles as registrar, magistrate, solicitor-general, and attorney-general in Zamfara State. Takori also served in the House of Representatives and has a history of commitment to his party, including stepping down for other candidates on multiple occasions and running for governor in 2019. He is a founding member of the NDC and previously served as its protem national secretary.

VinMartin Ilo joins as chief technical adviser, bringing nearly four decades of experience as a media executive, broadcast journalist, and expert in development and international relations. His background includes significant roles at Radio Nigeria and Africa Independent Television, as well as serving as special adviser on media to the governor of Enugu State and a member of the National Broadcasting Commission's Governing Board. Ilo most recently served as president and CEO of Signature TV.

Steve Nwosu has been appointed spokesman. The appointments are effective immediately and aim to strengthen Mr. Dickson's and the NDC's strategic positioning for the upcoming elections. The party highlighted the extensive experience, professionalism, credibility, and integrity that Ilo and Nwosu bring to their roles, alongside Takori's proven track record as a public administrator and his impressive political and legal career.
