Primaria Fest is set to transform Sukabumi, Indonesia, into a vibrant hub for Indonesian Bounce Music (IBM) on July 10, 2026. The festival, to be held at Stadion Surya Kencana, promises an immersive experience celebrating a genre that has rapidly evolved from niche appeal to mainstream dominance.

Once relegated to "guilty pleasure" status, genres like koplo, now broadly termed Indonesian Bounce Music, have become integral to the cultural identity of young Indonesians. Fueled by digital platforms and strong community support, IBM is now a fixture at major festivals, reflecting a significant shift in musical tastes.

Festival Director Reza Lubis highlighted IBM's evolution into a powerful medium of expression that embodies diversity, unity, and the contemporary spirit of the generation. He noted the growing pride among young people in embracing IBM as a cultural identity, moving past previous stigmas.
