NDX AKA had been accused by netizens of lacking empathy regarding the prevailing situation in Pati. This backlash led the group to limit comments on their Instagram account and remove promotional posts for the event. The group also deleted a poster for "Pati Full Vibes" which featured two yellow lightning bolt logos.

In their statement, NDX AKA explained that the cancellation was a "precautionary step" to safeguard security, comfort, and good relations with all parties. They emphasized that the decision was not intended to alienate anyone but rather to demonstrate responsibility in addressing the developing situation. The group apologized to their fans in Pati and expressed hope for a future opportunity to perform.
