Negeri Sembilan Declares Public Holiday as Appreciation for Election Efforts

Negeri Sembilan will observe a public holiday on August 3, following an announcement by the newly appointed Menteri Besar, Datuk Ismail Lasim. The decision to grant a holiday on August 3 was made with the consent of the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum.

Ismail stated that the holiday serves as a token of appreciation for the citizens of Negeri Sembilan and everyone who worked diligently to ensure the success of the recent state general election. He acknowledged the efforts involved, noting that many people are tired and deserve a chance to rest.
