Netanyahu Says Israel Supports Trump's Iran Naval Blockade

Netanyahu asserted that Iran's alleged violation of the terms set forth during recent peace talks in Pakistan served as the direct catalyst for President Trump's decision. Speaking at a cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized that Israel unequivocally backs this "firm position" and is engaged in "constant coordination" with the U.S. administration regarding its execution.

The U.S. military is set to commence the blockade of all Iranian ports on Monday, following the breakdown of negotiations with Tehran. President Trump had previously announced on social media his intention to blockade the strategic Strait of Hormuz, a critical global trade route, after Vice President JD Vance concluded unsuccessful talks with an Iranian delegation in Islamabad.
