New Host Joins LNK's 'Šeškinės 20' for Upcoming Season

The LNK television show 'Šeškinės 20' is set to refresh its lineup for the upcoming season with the addition of Paulius Vaitiekūnas. He will join long-time hosts Giedrius Savickas and Džiugas Siaurusaitis, a pairing that has defined the show's dynamic for years. Vaitiekūnas, while expressing deep respect for his colleagues' experience, made it clear he does not intend to simply blend in. "I don't intend to defer to them. I think they are still testing me. My task is very simple – to do and say what they don't want to. I won't be very comfortable for them, but that only makes it more interesting," he stated. His arrival marks a significant shift for the show, as Vaitiekūnas acknowledges that his presence will inevitably alter the established rhythm of the long-standing duo. He embraces this challenge, viewing it as an opportunity to contribute a unique perspective. Life for the new host is currently a whirlwind of television filming, events, and weddings. Despite the demanding pace, Vaitiekūnas finds energy in his busy schedule. "It's all very intense. But I like it. I feel needed. Sometimes I get tired, but it's only physical fatigue," he shared. He credits clear personal goals for helping him navigate the intensity, stating, "Personal goals help. Because of them, I am always ready to do more. I want a good life for myself and those around me, so I work a lot." While television work requires significant effort, Vaitiekūnas identifies hosting weddings as carrying the greatest responsibility. "Definitely weddings. On television, everything is done for you. Behind the screen is a huge team of professionals who will help you with everything. At a wedding, you are alone and everything is your responsibility," he explained. When he does find free time, Vaitiekūnas prioritizes rest, particularly sleep, alongside sports and catching up on popular TV series. He also revealed he is in a new relationship, marking a new chapter in his personal life, and looks forward to more stability and travel opportunities as the event season winds down.
