New poll compares Kılıçdaroğlu and Özel's CHP support

A new poll by MetroPOLL gauges public opinion on the Republican People's Party (CHP) following a controversial decision regarding its leadership. The survey presents three distinct scenarios for an "if elections were held this Sunday" question: one with Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu as the appointed CHP leader, another with the elected leader Özgür Özel leading the CHP, and a third where Özel establishes a new party.

The AKP follows with 20.2%, the DEM Party with 8.0%, the MHP with 6.5%, and the İYİ Party with 3.1%. In this scenario, the protest vote rate drops to 12.0%.

The poll also surveyed participants on internal CHP matters, with 61.2% disagreeing with Kılıçdaroğlu's appointment as leader and 45.7% believing he should call for an immediate party congress.
