Newrizon enters B2C beauty market with clean-tech, high-value materials

Clean-tech materials specialist Newrizon is set to enter the high-value B2C beauty market, leveraging its expertise in nano-fiber and nano-spinning technology.

The company is accelerating its push into the beauty sector by applying the nano-fiber and nano-spinning techniques developed during its work on high-purity filter materials. Newrizon has recently focused on expanding its beauty applications to include mask packs and skincare materials utilizing PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) nano-sheets.

These PVA nano-sheets are ultra-thin, skin-adhering sheets created through Newrizon's nano-spinning technology. Preliminary human application tests revealed that the PVA nano-sheet significantly enhanced the absorption speed and depth of active ingredients by 1.29 times compared to conventional rayon sheets. This demonstrates a distinct performance advantage in delivering ingredients deep into the skin within the limited time a mask pack is typically used.

Based on these evaluation results, Newrizon intends to expand the use of its nano-fiber-based new materials beyond mask pack sheets to encompass the broader beauty industry, including skincare, beauty devices, and cosmetic ingredients. "We have continuously conducted research and development to apply the nano-technology verified through filter development to the beauty field," a Newrizon representative stated. "We will continue to expand the application range of new materials and fully enter the beauty market."
