Nguyễn Đức Tâm Elected Chairman of Quảng Ngãi Provincial People's Committee

Nguyễn Đức Tâm has been elected as the new Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People's Committee, securing unanimous support with 100% of the votes. The election took place during a special session of the Provincial People's Council on July 28, 2026, for the 2026-2031 term.

Tâm, who previously served as Deputy Minister of Finance, was appointed Deputy Secretary of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Party Committee on July 27. This appointment followed a decision by the Party Central Committee's Organization Department, which directed him to join the Provincial Party Committee and hold the deputy secretary position for the 2025-2030 term.
