Nigeria inducts 85 foreign-trained pharmacists

The Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) has officially welcomed 85 Nigerian pharmacists, trained abroad, into the country's professional ranks. The oath-taking and induction ceremony, held in Abuja, signifies the start of their careers in Nigeria's healthcare sector.

Registrar Ibrahim Ahmed emphasized that the induction is more than a formality; it represents a new professional era built on shared commitment to quality healthcare. He praised the pharmacists for their courage and dedication in choosing to practice in Nigeria, highlighting the value of their diverse expertise and international perspectives.

Ahmed encouraged the newly inducted professionals to familiarize themselves with Nigeria's specific standards and ethical responsibilities. The event was also attended by Pharm. Luka Baba, Chairman of the Karu Local Government Traditional Council, who described the induction as a significant milestone for both the pharmacists and Nigeria's healthcare sector.
