Nigerian man dies in UK road crash, leaves behind wife, three children

A tragic road accident in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, has claimed the life of David Oyedeji Adediwura, a Nigerian man, along with two other individuals. The collision, involving a silver Vauxhall Astra and a grey BMW 840i on Cory Wright Way, occurred on the evening of July 22. Three men traveling in the Astra were pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the BMW sustained serious injuries.

In the wake of the tragedy, Adediwura's former colleagues from Yodel and DHL have initiated a GoFundMe campaign. The fundraiser aims to gather £10,000 to assist his wife and three children with funeral and burial costs, as well as other immediate financial needs. Organizers described Adediwura's death as "sudden, heartbreaking and completely unexpected," noting that he was a "valued member of our community whose presence, kindness and contributions touched the lives of those around him."

Iretiayo Oyewole, the fundraiser's organizer, emphasized that any donation, regardless of size, would significantly ease the financial burden on the grieving family, allowing them to focus on mourning and honoring Adediwura's memory. Hertfordshire Police are continuing their investigation into the crash and are urging anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward. Detective Constable Lewis Stanley extended condolences to the families of the victims and appealed for any witnesses to report what they saw.
