Nigerian Navy Recovers 105,000 Liters of Suspected Stolen Crude Oil

The Nigerian Navy has significantly intensified its efforts against crude oil theft and illegal bunkering in Delta State, recovering an estimated 105,000 liters of suspected stolen crude oil. These seizures were part of the ongoing Operation Delta Sentinel, aimed at curbing economic sabotage in the Niger Delta region.

During separate operations, naval forces uncovered hidden storage facilities in the Oteghele axis of Delta State. These sites were being used by economic saboteurs to stockpile illegally obtained crude oil. The recovered products were divided into two main seizures: one of approximately 60,000 liters and another of 45,000 liters.
