Nigerian woman reunites her mother with three siblings after 30 years

A heartwarming reunion has taken place after a Nigerian woman, Lister Mathew Osas, successfully located and connected with three siblings who were taken to Cameroon over 30 years ago. Osas had recently appealed to the public for assistance in finding her mother's lost children, and the response was swift and overwhelming.

I was able to connect with them yesterday. I was on a two, three hours, almost three hours call last night.

In an emotional video shared on Instagram, Osas revealed that she connected with her siblings just two days after launching her public appeal. She described the reunion as surreal, noting that the conversations felt natural, as if they had been searching for each other for a long time. Having grown up as an only child, Osas expressed that discovering she has two sisters and a brother still feels like a dream come true.

The best thing about this is that it didn’t feel like I was meeting strangers. It feels like we were searching for each other. It feels like we were waiting to meet each other for the longest of time.

The emotional breakthrough has brought immense joy not only to Osas but also to her mother, who now has 11 grandchildren. Osas shared tearful moments of joy, recounting her mother's ecstatic reaction upon hearing the news. She described the discovery that her mother's children were alive as the greatest gift, emphasizing the profound happiness of her mother now having a larger family.
