Nigerians will rewrite Nigeria's story in 2027 polls, says presidential hopeful

Presidential hopeful Faduri Oluwadare Joseph, known as Fadojoe, declared that Nigerians are poised to "rewrite the story of Nigeria" in the 2027 general elections, ushering in what he termed "true and real change." Speaking from Lagos, Fadojoe, who leads the Rescue Movement for New Nigeria, drew inspiration from the recent Osun State governorship election, viewing it as a testament to the electorate's ability to overcome financial inducements and political pressure.

Congratulating Governor Ademola Adeleke on his Osun victory, Fadojoe emphasized that the election demonstrated Nigerians' capacity for independent decision-making regarding their political future. He urged citizens to emulate the resilience and resistance shown by Osun voters, encouraging them to reject "money politics," material gifts, and intimidation in future polls. "We will shock the world in 2027," he stated, predicting a decisive outcome driven by the people's will rather than financial influence.

Fadojoe, who intends to contest the 2027 presidential election on the platform of the Action Alliance (AA), specifically called upon Nigerian youths and women to play a more active role. He identified these demographics as being disproportionately affected by poor governance and stressed that they could no longer afford to remain passive in the political process. "The youths and women of Nigeria who have been at the receiving end of this bad governance in our nation must and would stand to resist the evil," he asserted, promising that "2027 won’t be business as usual."

Fadojoe concluded with a rallying cry, expressing confidence that Nigerians were preparing to make their voices heard decisively at the ballot box in 2027, marking a new political era.
