Nightkeepers, Zou Xu kick off Taipei Youth Showcase on the 29th, gathering 30 campus clubs to show vitality

The Taipei City Youth Bureau is set to launch the "2026 Taipei for Youth Taipei Youth Showcase" on the 29th, an event designed to highlight the creativity and energy of young students. The showcase will feature 30 diverse clubs from high schools and universities across Taipei, converging at the Huashan Theater within the Huashan 1914 Creative Park.

The event aims to provide a platform for young people to transform their interests and imagination into engaging performances and exhibits. It will encompass both dynamic stage presentations and static displays. Dynamic performances will include a wide array of acts such as military precision drills, flag performances, brass bands, pop music, hip-hop, lock dancing, K-pop, sign language, and fire dancing, showcasing the unique talents and vitality of campus clubs.

Clubs are important spaces for young people to explore interests, cultivate teamwork, and express themselves.

Complementing the stage acts, static exhibitions will feature hand-drawn art, information technology projects, animation research, service-oriented clubs, and discussions on social issues. These displays, along with interactive games, will offer attendees a close-up look at the distinct characteristics of various school clubs.

Adding to the excitement, the showcase will feature performances by the popular band "Nightkeepers" and the Golden Melody Award-winning newcomer "Zou Xu." A "random dance" segment is also planned, inviting audience members to join in and break down the barriers between performers and spectators, creating a collective celebration of youth culture. The event also includes interactive experiences like photo booths and a retro-themed mirror, allowing attendees to capture their own youthful memories. Awards will be presented to outstanding clubs, with a grand prize of NT$20,000 for the champion, alongside accolades for best styling, best booth, best creativity, and a popular vote award.
