Nikolaj Lie Kaas' comedy series 'Agent' gets new season

The Danish comedy series "Agent," created by actor and director Nikolaj Lie Kaas, is set to return for a second season. Titled "En chance til" (One More Chance), the new installment is slated for a 2027 premiere, marking a four-year gap since the first season aired.

Lie Kaas shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming season, describing it as a comedy with a "crazy cast of characters" and an underlying theme of finding love. He expressed gratitude for the cast and crew's contributions to making the season even more enjoyable.

The series centers on Joe, portrayed by Esben Smed, who manages a roster of celebrities in the entertainment industry. The show is known for its celebrity cameos, with famous faces appearing as caricatured versions of themselves. The second season will include appearances by comedian Lars Hjortshøj, director Thomas Vinterberg, and actors Birthe Neumann, Bodil Jørgensen, Lars Mikkelsen, and Lars Brygmann, most of whom will play themselves.
