The commission is alerting Nigerians to be wary of scammers who are allegedly demanding money from unsuspecting individuals under the pretense of helping them secure jobs at the NUPRC.

Eniola Akinkuotu, the NUPRC Head of Media and Corporate Communications, shared this warning via X. The commission has received reports of fake employment letters bearing names of individuals unknown to the organization. Furthermore, criminal elements are reportedly extorting money by falsely claiming they have connections that can guarantee employment at the NUPRC.

The NUPRC has officially reported these activities to law enforcement agencies for a thorough investigation. The commission urges the public to exercise extreme caution and to verify any employment-related information before taking any action or making payments. "The NUPRC states categorically that there is no ongoing recruitment exercise at the Commission," the statement emphasized.
