Noraniza Idris open to new song recording with Siti Nurhaliza

Ratu Etnik Kreatif, Noraniza Idris, has expressed her openness to collaborating with the acclaimed Biduanita Negara, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, on a new song. Noraniza, affectionately known as Kak Ani, views the persistent hopes of fans for a reunion as a significant honor.

However, the "Dikir Puteri" singer emphasized that any such collaboration hinges entirely on Siti Nurhaliza's agreement and readiness. "The hope is immense. Who am I to refuse?" Noraniza remarked. "Everything depends on Datuk Seri Siti. I genuinely have no problem duetting, regardless of the song or concept."

Noraniza cited the demanding artistic commitments and packed work schedules of both artists as primary reasons why this highly anticipated collaboration has not yet materialized. "We both have commitments. I am also preparing my own new single that needs completion," she explained.

"So, for now, I want to focus on the plans currently underway first," Noraniza added. The duo previously collaborated on the irama Malaysia album, "Seri Balas," released in 1999, a partnership that remains fondly remembered by fans.
