Norwegian Football Mourns Teen Player Selma Hagfors Hestetun

The Norwegian football community is in mourning following the tragic death of Selma Amanda Hagfors Hestetun, a promising young player who passed away at the age of just 16. Selma was a player for Grei, having previously spent several years with Lyn before joining her current team at the start of the season.

Her untimely death has sent shockwaves through the sport, particularly as she was also the sister of Maren Hagfors Thoresen, who plays for Røa in Norway's top women's football league.

Grei expressed its profound sorrow over the loss, extending condolences to Selma's family, friends, teammates, and all those affected by her premature passing.
