Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) has clarified that it is not obstructing other parties from joining the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition, refuting claims made by Pas Deputy President Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man. The assertion from Pas suggested that Bersatu was the entity preventing other parties' inclusion.

Datuk Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz, Bersatu's Information Chief, responded directly to the allegations. He stated that Tuan Ibrahim, in his capacity as PN Deputy Chairman, is well-positioned to understand the reasons behind the PN Supreme Council's decision to pursue an electoral pact. This implies that the decision-making process regarding coalition expansion is a collective one within PN, not unilaterally dictated by Bersatu.
