NU Care Hub offers diverse services to participants at Nahdlatul Ulama Congress

The 35th Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Congress in Jombang, East Java, is not only a platform for consolidating the NU movement but also a venue for community service. NU Care-LAZISNU PBNU has established the NU Care Hub, a dedicated service area designed to cater to congress attendees and the local community.

The hub offers a comprehensive range of services. Participants can access consultations and make direct payments for zakat, infak, and sedekah (ZIS). Educational games focused on ZIS are available, alongside an exhibition showcasing products from NU-supported micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM). For personal well-being, free massage and haircut services are provided, complemented by complimentary food and beverages.

Beyond these amenities, the NU Care Hub provides essential facilities such as a rest area, Wi-Fi access, and mobile phone charging stations. According to Umdatul Qori, the committee chair for the NU Care Lazisnu Side Event, the hub is an effort by Lazisnu to deliver accessible services with real benefits during the congress.

The initiative also emphasizes ZIS literacy through interactive means. The Digital ZIS Corner and Koin NU program allow visitors to learn about ZIS and make donations, including to disaster victims in various Indonesian regions and Palestine. Qori noted the positive reception of the ZIS-themed games, which offer attractive prizes and engage visitors in a lighter, more interactive way to understand charitable giving. This approach aims to make philanthropic movements more approachable and relevant to contemporary needs.
