Numerologist Responds After Femicide Perpetrator Blames Her in Letter

Verónica Assad, known as Pitty la numeróloga, has spoken out after being named in a letter by the man who murdered Romina Calvo in Villa Devoto. The perpetrator accused Assad of altering the victim's "entire personality." Assad explained that Calvo had been working for one of her Pitty Velas franchises and had initially approached her for a business opportunity.

Assad described them as being from a "very low profile" background.

The femicide occurred when the man fatally stabbed Calvo in their home. He fled the scene, leaving a letter expressing his exhaustion with "injustice" and accusing Calvo of betrayal. He specifically blamed Assad, stating that "having those contacts, that Pitty changed her entire personality and wants me out of the house."
