Law enforcement agencies have surrounded a four-storey building in Savar's Shyampur, Bangladesh, as part of an operation to search the premises. The Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit, along with local police and National Security Intelligence (NSI) personnel, established a cordon around the property owned by Abdul Jalil on Tuesday evening.

A nearby shopkeeper noted that public movement along the road in front of the building had been restricted for several hours.
