The Dhaka Education Board has emerged with the highest number of students achieving GPA-5 in this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.

Dhaka recorded an impressive 33,253 students securing the top grade, according to result statistics released by the Education Ministry. This figure significantly surpasses the achievements of other general education boards across Bangladesh.

Rajshahi Board secured the second position with 16,313 GPA-5 achievers. Following closely were Dinajpur with 13,639 and Jashore with 11,478 students reaching the highest grade. Other boards also reported substantial numbers, with Cumilla achieving 9,814 GPA-5s, Chattogram 9,398, Mymensingh 5,700, and Sylhet 3,836.

Barishal Board recorded the lowest number of GPA-5 achievers among the nine general education boards, with 2,778 students attaining the top grade. Collectively, across all nine general education boards, a total of 106,009 students achieved GPA-5.
