Iran's army issued a stern warning on Sunday, stating that the ongoing Middle East conflict would inevitably widen if the United States persists with attacks against the Islamic Republic. The statement comes just ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's scheduled visit to Washington.

I believe that if the Americans once again fall for the Zionists' deception, or move in line with them, and insist on continuing the war, particularly through air strikes, geographically this will expand further.

Army spokesman Mohammad Akraminia told state television that any continued U.S. involvement, especially through air strikes, would lead to a geographical expansion of the war. He pointed to the recent military escalation involving Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi rebels and Saudi Arabia in the Bab al-Mandab Strait as an example of the conflict's already broadening reach.

Akraminia asserted that Iran's operational scope now covers the entire region, extending from U.S. bases in Jordan to countries bordering the Persian Gulf. He described the current situation in the Middle East for the United States as "difficult and unsettled," suggesting that Washington is actively seeking a new strategy.
