Off-Duty Sergeant Injures Brothers-in-Law in Turkey Attack

An off-duty specialist sergeant from the gendarmerie has been apprehended after allegedly attacking two of his brothers-in-law in Adıyaman's Kahta district. The incident occurred while the sergeant, identified as İ.K., was on leave from his duty station in Kahramanmaraş.

According to initial reports, İ.K. is accused of first striking one brother-in-law, G.C.S., with his vehicle, causing injuries. Subsequently, he allegedly used a firearm to shoot his other brother-in-law, S.S.

Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, and both injured men received initial treatment before being transported to Kahta State Hospital. S.S., whose condition is reported to be serious, was later transferred to Adıyaman Training and Research Hospital for further treatment. İ.K. was taken into custody by police following the incident, and an investigation has been launched.
