Ogun council of Obas: Adeola hails Alake’s emergence as Chairman

Senator Solomon Adeola, a prominent figure in Ogun State politics, has extended congratulations to Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo on his recent inauguration as the Chairman of the Ogun State Council of Obas. The ceremony, held in Abeokuta, was presided over by Governor Dapo Abiodun and saw the participation of traditional rulers from across the state's 20 local government areas.

Oba Gbadebo, the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, assumes the chairmanship following the conclusion of Oba Kehinde Olugbenle's tenure. The Ogun State Council of Obas plays a crucial advisory role to the government on matters concerning the state's socio-economic progress.

In his message, Adeola highlighted Oba Gbadebo's extensive experience, wisdom, and dedication to the well-being of Egbaland and Ogun State. He voiced his belief that the new chairman's leadership will enhance cooperation between traditional leadership and the government, thereby advancing peace, unity, and development throughout the region. Adeola concluded by wishing Oba Gbadebo continued wisdom, good health, strength, and a long tenure in his new capacity.
