Oil tanker struck by projectile off Oman coast; crew safe

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), a maritime information center under the British defense ministry, reported the attack on its social media platform X. "The captain of an oil tanker reports that the vessel has been hit by an unknown projectile, causing damage to the engine room and leaving the ship out of service," the UKMTO stated.
