Okpeyo Temile Foundation pumps N4bn into SMEs, elderly support

The Okpeyo Temile Foundation has significantly boosted local economies by distributing over 450 million naira to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and provide aid to the elderly. This initiative falls under the foundation's 2026 business support grant and its Support for Subsistence Living Programme (SSLP).

Today’s event is the culmination of months of careful planning and hard work by our dedicated team. We are delighted to welcome over 1,500 beneficiaries into this year’s empowerment programme.

During a ceremony in Warri, Delta state, Omasan Eyikimiaghan, the program coordinator, expressed optimism that the opportunities provided would lead to greater success for the beneficiaries. She urged them to utilize the support effectively, act as good ambassadors for the foundation, and become agents of positive change within their communities.

Approximately 80% of this year’s beneficiaries come from our host communities, reflecting our commitment to creating sustainable economic growth where it is needed most.

Eyikimiaghan highlighted that around 80% of this year's beneficiaries hail from Delta state, underscoring the foundation's dedication to fostering sustainable economic growth in its host communities. While prioritizing local impact, the foundation maintains a national vision, planning to expand its reach across Nigeria.
