Oksana Pikul backs fighter Maslobojevas, offers sponsorship ahead of match

Oksana Pikul, a prominent figure previously linked to fighter Dominykas Dirksčius, has publicly declared her support for his upcoming opponent, Sergejus Maslobojevas, offering him sponsorship for the match.

Pikul announced her intention to back Maslobojevas on social media, emphasizing her belief in discipline and serious sportsmanship. She stated her support is for those who demonstrate hard work and professionalism, contrasting it with "circus"-like behavior. She plans to rally sponsors to present Maslobojevas with a compelling offer.

Maslobojevas responded to the offer, acknowledging the attention but downplaying its significance. He stated that while he appreciates the support, he is focused on his training and his team's plan. He prefers to concentrate on his path without being distracted by external factors or public commentary.

"I am impressed by the additional attention, there has always been some, perhaps not always so much public attention, but it's pleasant. I don't attach much importance to all of this, I have my own team, I know what I have to do, what to do to prepare. I work purposefully, I go my own way and don't look sideways," Maslobojevas said. "But it's always nice to receive support. Let's be poor but honest, I don't place hope in all these scribblers, I don't pay much attention, I go my own way. I know who really supports me, who helps when it's hard – and the rest... When there is something, we can talk. I am one of those people who do, and then talk, not the other way around."

Pikul's shift in allegiance comes as her relationship with Dirksčius has reportedly ended. She had previously suggested she would withdraw support from Dirksčius, and now appears to be actively backing his rival in the upcoming UTMA fight tournament scheduled for September 26th at the Kaunas "Žalgiris" Arena.
