Olivia Rodrigo Wears Palestinian Label’s Dress at Charity Festival

Olivia Rodrigo used the stage of her Daisy Chain Fields charity festival to spotlight Palestinian fashion, wearing a soft-pink handmade mini dress from Ramallah-based Nöl Collective.

The dress featured short flutter sleeves and traditional tatreez embroidery. Bird motifs and daisy flowers decorated the garment, giving a contemporary festival look a clear connection to Palestinian craft.

Nöl Collective was founded by Palestinian-American designer Yasmeen Mjalli. The label produces clothing locally through family-run sewing workshops, artisan studios and women’s cooperatives in different parts of Palestine.

The brand takes its name from the Arabic word for a loom. Its work emphasizes traditional techniques, including tatreez embroidery, hand weaving and natural dyeing. The label presents fashion made in Palestine as connected not only to craft, but also to community and politics.

Rodrigo also announced that Daisy Chain Fields would donate $10 million to 10 charitable organizations supporting women and girls. The festival, which featured female musicians, draws on the spirit of Rodrigo’s earlier Fund 4 Good initiative, which has directed millions of dollars toward reproductive rights, girls’ education and related causes.
