Oman participates in Istanbul International Arab Book Fair

The Sultanate of Oman is actively participating in the 11th Istanbul International Arab Book Fair, a significant cultural event running from August 15 to 23. Represented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, Oman's presence underscores its commitment to fostering Arab cultural exchange and presenting its unique cultural identity to a global audience.

Through its dedicated pavilion, the Omani ministry is showcasing a diverse array of publications, cultural programs, and initiatives. These offerings are designed to illuminate the richness of the Omani cultural landscape and support efforts to preserve its heritage for future generations. The participation aims to connect with intellectuals, researchers, publishers, and visitors from around the world.

This year's book fair operates under the theme "The Story Continues," emphasizing the ongoing vitality of Arab cultural resourcefulness and the pivotal role of books in disseminating knowledge and facilitating human interaction. The event itself is a substantial gathering, featuring publications from more than 30 countries and over 300 publishing houses, alongside a variety of cultural programs spanning different literary fields.
