One Dead, Eight Injured in Serious Road Accident Near Udbina, Croatia

A serious traffic accident occurred on Thursday afternoon near Udbina, Croatia, resulting in one fatality and multiple injuries. The incident took place around 2:08 PM on a local road connecting Podudbina and the Udbina interchange on the A1 highway.

A passenger car with Bulgarian license plates veered off the road. Tragically, one individual died at the scene. Eight other passengers suffered injuries of varying degrees of severity.

Due to the gravity of the accident and the number of injured individuals, the Emergency Helicopter Medical Service (HHMS) was dispatched to the location. The helicopter assisted in providing aid and transporting the injured to the hospital.
