One in Intensive Care, Three Children Injured After Bishkek Road Accident

A serious road accident in Bishkek on July 19 resulted in five injuries, with three of those affected being minors. The incident occurred around 00:45 a.m. when the driver of a Honda Fit, traveling north on Yunusaliev Street, collided with a BMW X7 while attempting a left turn at the intersection with Mederov Street. The driver of the Honda Fit sustained severe injuries, including a closed fracture on the right side of the lower back, and is currently in the intensive care unit at City Hospital No. 4. Among the injured passengers in the Honda Fit were three children. One child is in serious condition with a head injury, another received medical attention for facial injuries and was released for outpatient treatment, and the third child also suffered bodily injuries. The driver of the BMW X7 reported a shoulder injury and sought medical assistance. An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, and both vehicles have been impounded.
