One Winner Claims Lotto Jackpot Worth Over €8.2 Million

A single lucky ticket holder has claimed the Lotto jackpot, winning over €8.2 million in Saturday night's draw. The winning numbers were 23, 24, 25, 42, 43, 46, with a bonus ball of 37. This victory marks the fourth time a player has won the jackpot in 2026, bringing the total prize money awarded to €8,221,849.

Organizers are expected to reveal the location where the winning ticket was purchased in the coming days. Players who participated in the draw are urged to check their tickets, as several other participants also secured substantial winnings. In addition to the main jackpot, three other players each won close to €90,000.

The win comes shortly after the National Lottery announced significant changes to the game, set to be implemented later this year. Notably, the number of balls in play will be reduced from 47 to 45. This adjustment is designed to improve the odds of winning the top prize, shifting them from approximately 1 in 10.7 million to 1 in 8.1 million.
