ONP Starts Home Pension Payments on July 13: Discover the First Beneficiary Districts

The National Pension Office (ONP) in Peru will begin offering home pension payments on July 13, providing a new service for over 10,000 beneficiaries in Lima Metropolitan and Callao. This initiative aims to offer an alternative for elderly individuals to avoid traveling to banks to collect their pensions during July.

The service, which is free of charge, has been organized in three phases based on the districts where beneficiaries reside. The ONP, an entity attached to the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), seeks to offer a safer and more practical option, particularly for older adults who face mobility challenges.

From July 13 to 14, payments will be made in Lima Sur districts, including Barranco, Miraflores, and San Juan de Miraflores. Lima Norte and Callao districts, such as Carabayllo, Comas, and Ventanilla, will receive payments from July 15 to 17. Lima Centro districts, including Ate, Lima, and San Juan de Lurigancho, are scheduled for July 18 to 20.

Pensioners who cannot be reached during the first visit will be scheduled for a second attempt between July 21 and 25. Those interested in this home payment service can register through the ONP Virtual platform. Requests submitted between July 11 and August 7 will be processed for inclusion starting in September.
